Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Mega Deals Android application with package name com.drapps.megadeals. Mega Deals presents product offers, may display web content, and can open retailer or UPI applications selected by the user. This policy does not govern third-party websites, retailers, payment applications, or services that you choose to open.

2. Information we process

App activity and technical information

Mega Deals uses Google Analytics for Firebase. Depending on device settings and service configuration, it may process an app-instance identifier, device and OS information, approximate location derived from network information, session and interaction data, diagnostics, and advertising identifiers. The app may also log interactions with displayed web content, such as a clicked element's tag or text, to understand whether features work as expected.

Remote configuration and product content

The app reads configuration, product, link, and privacy-policy information from Google Cloud Firestore. The current app does not provide a Mega Deals account registration or profile form and does not intentionally write user profiles to Firestore.

Information stored on your device

The app uses local preferences to remember items such as whether the app has been opened before, whether the privacy notice was accepted, and the last configured privacy-policy URL. This information stays on the device unless it is included in a device backup controlled by your operating system.

Information you send to third parties

When you follow an offer, browse external content, or start a UPI payment, the destination retailer, website, payment application, bank, or payment provider may receive the information needed to complete that action. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

3. How we use information

• Provide product offers, remote content, links, and app functionality.
• Remember basic preferences and first-launch status.
• Measure usage, diagnose problems, and improve performance and design.
• Open retailer, browser, sharing, and payment applications at your request.
• Protect the app and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information for money. If analytics or advertising features are configured in a way treated as “sharing,” “selling,” or targeted advertising under a law that applies to you, you may have additional opt-out rights.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by the following categories of recipients:

• Google Firebase and Google Analytics, which provide app configuration, database, analytics, and supporting infrastructure. See Firebase privacy and security and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Retailers and affiliate partners when you open an offer or product link.
• UPI apps, banks, and payment providers when you choose to start or complete a payment.
• Authorities or professional advisers when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent harm, or protect the service.

These providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, subject to their terms and applicable safeguards.

5. Payments

Mega Deals can create or pass a UPI payment request containing details such as the payee UPI address, merchant name, amount, currency, transaction note, or reference. The request is handed to the UPI application you select. Mega Deals does not ask for or store your UPI PIN, bank password, card number, or bank-account credentials. Payment authorization and processing occur in the selected third-party payment app.

6. Affiliate links and external content

Some links are affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase after using one, the publisher may receive a commission, normally without increasing the price you pay. External pages may open inside a WebView or in another installed application. Those third parties may collect information under their own privacy policies, and Mega Deals does not control their content, security, availability, or data practices.

7. Retention

Local preferences remain until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings configured for the associated Google Analytics and Firebase project. Third parties retain information according to their own policies and legal requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the app and information processed through it. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Keep your device, payment apps, and authentication credentials secure, and never share a UPI PIN.

9. Your choices and rights

• Clear local app data or uninstall Mega Deals through Android settings.
• Reset or delete the advertising ID and manage ad privacy in device settings.
• Choose not to open an affiliate link or initiate a UPI payment.
• Use retailer, browser, and payment-app privacy controls where available.
• Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other rights available under the law that applies to you.

We may need enough information to understand and verify a request. Because the app does not currently create Mega Deals user accounts, some analytics data may not be reasonably linkable to your identity by us.

10. Children's privacy

Mega Deals is a general-audience shopping and offers application and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted at this location with a new “last updated” date. Material changes may also be presented inside the app where appropriate.
